IB Diploma

IB Diploma Program At Lee’s Summit North

The IB Diploma, the most challenging of Lee’s Summit North’s IB opportunities, offers a rigorous program that include all of the following: six IB courses and exams (at least three and not more than four of these courses at the Higher Level and the remaining at the Standard Level); the course Theory of Knowledge; 150 hours of Creative Action Service (CAS) activities; and an extended essay in one of the subjects in the IB curriculum.  Students must choose one subject from each of groups 1 to 5; the sixth subject may be an arts subject chosen from group 6, or the student may choose another subject from groups 2 to 5.
