Last weekend, the LSN Women’s Choir took a trip over to St. Louis where they got the opportunity to tour the sights and sing.
On Friday, the girls and their chaperones left the LSN parking lot at seven o’clock in the morning and drove St. Louis. Once arrived, they stopped by Lindenwood college to sing and were able to listen to a few accapella choir groups from Lindenwood. After this performance, the choir went to lunch on the Lindenwood college campus and then got a tour of the college theater. After the tour, the Choir hit the road again, and drove to their hotel. The Choir was then allowed to shop at a mall near by and swim at the hotel swimming pool.
“My favorite part of the trip was discovering new places around the city with my friends,” Anne Ball, sophomore, said.
Saturday morning, the Women’s choir got an early start to their day, driving to the St. Louis Basilica. They then got a tour of the building and were able to sing two songs in the church. After that, the girls went to view the St. Louis Arch and then headed back to Lee’s Summit.
