Friday night commenced the Lee’s Summit North football season. With a touchdown in the first inning and an injury in the second to the off field Crimson Crazies and Superhero Student night, this has proved to be the classic Friday Night Lights.
“The student section is very insane, very hyped, very loud, and very exciting,” Hayden Bradford, senior, said.
This game was also the first Senior Student night of the year where the school honored fall sports such as girls tennis and boys and girls cross country.
“My first game thoughts are that we have a great crowd, the team is competing hard, it will be an exciting season. I see a lot of talent on the field and am excited to watch the team improve,” Jeff Meisenheimer, Principal, said.
The game was cancelled after halftime on Friday night and continued on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Crimson clad boys lost to Park Hill. The next home game will be on September 9 against longtime rivals, Lee’s Summit West.
